Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Employee Assistance Professional Association Nominations and Elections of Chapter Officers


This correspondence is the Chapter announcement of nominations for election for our Chapter Officers. 

The nominations are for the following Officers:

President

Vice President

Alternate Executive Officer

Secretary

Treasurer

Labor Officer

 

The positions are for a 2 year term and qualifications are you must be a Chapter Member, the President must be a Professional member of EAPA in good standing and a CEAP, the others must be Professional or Associate members of EAPA in good standing. The Labor Officer must possess a valid union card.  All this information is available on the Chapter website under By Laws.

At the June Monthly Meeting we will take nominations from the floor, with the exception of Past President, Chris Scheiblein will possess that position.  Nominations must come from a Chapter member in good standing from the May Meeting.  

Another process of nomination is to email the Election Committee with a nomination for specific officer positions.  This can be done through Jim Nestor's email at nestorje86@gmail.com 

Following the nomination's the chapter will follow the elections process set forth through the Elections Committee (also in the Chapter By Laws).

The Greater Philadelphia Chapter EAPA Scholarship

The Chapter would like to support the EAP field by offering financial assistance to any chapter member or student in need, who is pursuing their CEAP and/or participation in the chapter. The goal of the scholarship is to reduce financial barriers which prevent some students or chapter members from pursuing experience in the EAP field. Questions regarding the scholarship can be directed to philaeapa@gmail.com.
