About Us

Established in 1971, the Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA) is the world's oldest and largest membership organization for employee assistance professionals, with approximately 5,000 members in the United States and more than 30 other countries. EAPA hosts an annual conference, publishes a journal for the employee assistance profession, and offers trainings and other resources to enhance the professionalism of its members and the industry. As the most influential and respected organization in the industry, EAPA is truly the global voice of the employee assistance field.

This is an optional resource that can help you prepare for the CEAP Exam. This 87 page publication includes general information about the EAP field, a self-assessment tool based upon the CEAP Exam Blueprint, a glossary of EAP terms, and knowledge-based practice questions. The Greater Philadelphia Chapter EAPA Scholarship

The Chapter would like to support the EAP field by offering financial assistance to any chapter member or student in need, who is pursuing their CEAP and/or participation in the chapter. The goal of the scholarship is to reduce financial barriers which prevent some students or chapter members from pursuing experience in the EAP field. EAPA sponsors the certified employee assistance professional (CEAP) credential, which denotes employee assistance professionals who are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of the industry.

A wealth of resources is available through EAPA, including publications, information packets, and general data and information that help members stay current on issues affecting today's workplace.
