Title of presentation:  Why we work & Importance of EAP

 

Goals/Objectives:

1.Understanding both the extrinsic and intrinsic value of work

2. Identifying the components of good work

3. Clarifying the role of EAP in improving work.

 

Mike Cipressi LCSW, CEAP has over 35 years’ experience as an EA professional. He has worked in a variety of workplace settings including entertainment, transportation, finance, healthcare and legal. For the last fifteen years he has been an independent contractor and in private practice.

Overview of Training:  Mike will discuss the often-overlooked significance of work and its deeper meaning for the individual worker. He will focus on why it’s important to assess a client’s relationship with work and how to facilitate positive change for the individual and the workplace.
